Person:Mirinda Morse (1)

She is listed in the records as being Moss, but I believe thather maiden name was Morse. Several things lead me to believethis: 1) In the 1850 and 1860 census there are are 2 differentMorse girls living withWilliam and Mirinda. This leads me tobelieve that they are actually Mirinda's sisters, 2) theirson-in-law, John Galloway is buried in the Morse Cemetery in theSmithville Township. Why would he be buried in a familycemetery without being a member of the family somehow, and 3) ifindeed they were from Germany, Morse would seem to be moreGerman than Moss.
