The following appeared on Wednesday, 25 May 1932 in the Terre Haute Tribune, page 2.S1

MINNIE VARNER LATHAM.
Special To The Tribune.
BRAZIL, Ind., May 25.---Minnie Varner Latham, widow of C. W. Latham[2], died at the home of her son, Clifford Latham, near Cory, Tuesday of complications, aged 51 years, 2 months and 18 days. She is survived by a son and daughter, Clifford Latham, Cory, and Mrs. Ralph Smith[3], Terre Haute; also the mother, Mrs. Margaret Varner, of Jasonville; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Rilla Purcell, Brazil; Miss Inez Varner[4], Terre Haute; Mrs. Mabel Sinders, Wayne, Mich.; Clyde Varner, Bloomington, and Curtis Varner, of Jasonville. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Ashboro church but will be preceded by short services at the home. Interment will be made at Oak Hill cemetery.
