Minnie Lambert lived in a house next door to her daughter Melissa in Ukiah, CA when Melissa lived in the Sun House. My Mother, Elva Morris Dumas rented a room from her in that house before she was married.

Minnie Lambert Taken by Death; Boonville Rites
Mrs. Minnie Lambert, born 93 years ago in Anderson Valley to Mr. and Mrs. James W. [sic] Rose who were also pioneers of that valley, will be laid to rest there in Evergreen Cemetery at Boonville.
The burial service will be at 1 p.m. at the cemetery after 11 a.m. services at the Eversole Mortuary here. The Rev. A. R. Trebel will officiate.
Birthdate of deceased was March 6, 1869. She had lived in Anderson Valley and here since that date.
Her late husband, George Lambert was a Ukiah old-timer. At the time of his death hre in 1922 he was Ukiah's fire chief.
Until ill health forbit it, deceased was active in the work of the Evengelical Free Church.
She leaves a daughter Mrs. Melissa Carpenter, Ukiah; a son Edward Lambert of Paradise, a sister Mrs. Martha Guntley of Philo and a brother Alonzo J. Rose of Oakland.
