Minnie Crouse was the daughter of Charles Crouse and Mary (Law) Crouse. She grew up in Browns Park a valley east of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation area and north of Dinosaur National Monument. This area was the haunt of the Wild Bunch, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Minnie certainly knew them. See this Genealogy Trails page for a brief history of this Daggett County area.
The Genealogy Trails web site mentions Minnie's marriage to Ronholt (Knud Ronholt) by whom she had her only child, Mary Lou or Marie Louise Ronholt.
There is another marriage recorded for a Minnie Ronholt and Alexander Norman Wales in Bannock County, Idaho in 1922s1. This marriage index entry is likely an error. There exists an Ancestry.com family tree listing the marriage of Norman Alexander Wailes to Florence Rose MacKenzie/McKensie in Pocatello, Bannock Co., ID on 22May1922, but with no citation. Now the purported marriage of Minnie Ronholt to Alexander Norman Wailes in Bannock Co had a date of 10Jun1922. I believe that the Western States Marriage Index is in error and the marriage of Minnie Ronholt was to George C. Rasmussen and that it may have been 10Jun1922.
