Mrs. Mildred Myers GIBSONBURG - Mrs. Mildred Zorn Myers, 71, 201 E. Madison St., died Mond ay morning at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton, where she had been a pati ent for one week. A native of Gibsonburg, Mrs. Myers was born Sept. 10, 1902, to the la te F. W. and Mary Leonora (Ferrenburg) Zorn. The Zorns were one of the fo unding families of Gibsonburg. She married Ted Myers, who died in Janua ry of 1967. He was police chief of the village for several years. Mrs. Myers was a school teacher for many years and was a graduate of Gibso nburg High School. She served several years as the Gibsonburg Corresponde nt for The News-Messenger. She was a member of the Faith United Methodi st Church, the Sorosis Club, and the Gibsonburg Federation, where she serv ed as past state officer. Survivors include one son, William, Oak Harbor; two grandchildren, and o ne sister, Mrs. Freda Veddier, Ann Harbor, Mich. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Veh and Son Fun eral Home. The Rev. Thomas McGranor of the Faith United Methodist Chur ch will officiate and burial will be in West Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
