[merged some.FTW] [from jan ferrenburg.FTW] Obituary Fremont News-Messenger Fremont, Sandusky CO, OH Monday, Dec. 15, 1941 page 2 HEART ATTACK CAUSES DEATH Gibsonburg, Dec. 15 - Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesd ay at the family residence here for Frederick William Zorn, 73, promine nt Gibsonburg resident, who died at his home at 8 a.m. Sunday. Death followed a heart attack. He had been active until the heart atta ck Thursday forced him to bed at his east Madison street home. The deceas ed was associated with the Zorn-Hornung Company which at one time operat ed more than 1,000 oil wells in the Gibsonburg district. Mr. Zorn and his company also were associated with several early lime plan ts in the Gibsonburg area, a stave factory, general store and the Gibsonbu rg elevator. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran church at Gibsonburg. Hessville - Native The deceased was born at Hessville, March 15, 1868, a son of Mr. and Mr s. Phillip Zorn. He moved when a boy with his parents to Gibsonburg, whe re his father was a pioneer business man. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. E. E. Echoff, of Danbury, and b urial will be in Gibsonburg Cemetery, north. The body is at Veh and Son f uneral home and will be removed to the family residence Tuesday morning. Surviving are a son, Ray Zorn, of Oak Harbor; two daughters, Mrs. Freda V edder, of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Mrs. Mildred Myers, of Elyria, who has be en at the Zorn home to care for her father, and five grandchildren. Wi fe of the deceased, Mary Lenora Zorn, died July 10, shortly after the coup le observed their 50th wedding anniversary. References
