Mildred Caldwell passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, from Madrid Home. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Adams Funeral Home, with graveside service following in Story Memorial Gardens at 3215 S. Duff Ave., in Ames.

Millie was born Feb.16, 1918, with twin sister Murtle, to Dave and Bessie (Knapp) Kesler. She graduated from Washington Township High School. She married Maurice Caldwell June 13, 1936; he passed away Sept. 22, 1989.

She is survived by two children, Larry (Sharon), of Centennial, Colo., and Karen (Edward) Reilly, of Northglenn, Colo.; four grandsons, Steven Reilly, of Santa Marie, Calif., Todd Reilly, of Littleton, Colo., Ryan Caldwell, of Parker, Colo., and Reid Caldwell of Franktown, Colo.; four great-grandchildren, Brooke and Bradley Caldwell, of Franktown, Colo., Stephanie Reilly, of Westminster, Colo., and Alaina Lidstone, of Littleton, Colo.; four great-great-grandsons; brother, Freddie, of Panora; and sister, Wilma Collins, of Dallas Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters.
