Funeral service for Mrs. Mildred Louise Collins, age 83, will be today, Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11 a.m., in Maple Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve McKowan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home in charge.


Mrs. Collins died early Friday at her home, after a long illness.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Wallace Collins in 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents, H. B. and Grace Collins; a sister, Dorothy and a brother, J. W. Collins.


She is survived by four daughters, Kay Cochran, Rita Upton, Beverly Stafford and husband Bill, all of Denmark, and Janice Edmonds of Toone; a brother, Melvin Collins and wife Doris of Bemis; eleven grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.


Visitation will be Satuirday at the church, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
