Mildred Mae Palmer, 91, of Bergholz, Ohio, died July 14, 2005, in her residence following a short illness. She was born September 19, 1913, in Bergholz, the daughter of the late James and Nellie (Madison) Buxton. She married John B. Palmer on February 8, 1934. She was a member of the Riley's Methodist Church in Salineville, Ohio.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances (George) Gardner of Bergholz; a sister, Inez Swickard of Richmond, Ohio; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John, in January 1990; and by four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held July 18, 2005, at the Allmon-Dugger-Cotton Funeral Home of Carrollton, with Rev. Mark Thomas officiating. Burial followed in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
