Obituary, Weekly Valley Herald, Oct. 20, 1887: Mineapolis department of the Pioneer Press: relative to the death of a gentleman well known in Chaska and Chanhassen. He was the brother of Henry Pauly of Chanhassen. Michael Pauly, proprietor of the International Hotel on second street died at 9 o'clock last evening of lung fever, aged sixty-two years. He has been a resident of Minneapolis since 1860. He was a native of Germany, but came to the United States in 1854 and for a time resided in the town of Chanhassen, Carver County. He leaves a widow and eleven children in comfortable circumstances. The feneral will take place at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from his late residence, No 223 Second Street South. References
