Michel BOURGEOIS, age 34 [sic], from Acadia, married, lives 1 3/4 leagues from meeting place [exactly same distance as name just above of Joseph TERRIAU, age 32, his sister's husband]. List probably made in early 1765.

In New Orleans, on 20 May 1767 Rose (?) married Michel BOURGEOIS, native of Beaubassin, widower of Marie Le--- (SLC, M2, 29). On the 1777 census of Cabanocey [LA] she was 42 years old, in family with husband Michel (42), son Paul, 8, and daughters Marguerite and Magdelaine (also both 8) [sic, they should be twins, age 3].
