Michael Shuler was born March 1759, Charity Shuler was born 1769. On the death page:   Charity Shuler departed this life December the17th 1856, Michael Shuler departed this life February the 23rd, 1862. It appears he was 103.   I will put the death page on as soon as it is developed. This Bible belongs to Stella Maude Shuler Davis in Sugar Grove, Va.   She is a real neat person and knows lots of Shuler history. If the pages were scanned, I think it would be better and easier to read. Maude said Michael fell off the porch and broke some bones and died as a result of the injury.   That was information we did not know.   ----Cleta Shuler (Bible page to be scanned for this record. )

Kepley-Byerly-Shuler-Ingols published genealogy attributes all his children except Elizabeth to his first wife (Dorotha). Considering the recorded baptism of daughter Anna Maria (Dec 1794) at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Rowan Co., NC, this would necessitate all births prior to that date being the issue of Dorotha, with the subsequent marriage to Charity having to have occurred in NC or VA, rather than MD. This would also render a marriage date to Charity prior to 1795 as extremely unlikely. As of this date, no documentation of the marriage, marriage bond, etc, has been located.
