MICHAEL FINK KISTLER
Michael Fink Kistler is dead at his home in Pitcairn, at the age of 85 years. Mr. Kistler was the eldest son of the late Samuel Kistler of Franklin township, Westmoreland county, the annual reunion of whose descendants is one of the events of that portion of the county. When a young man Michael Kistler married Miss Nancy Byerly of North Huntingdon township, Westmoreland county, and with her emigrated to Illinois. Mrs. Kistler died in the late 60's and in the early 70's Mr. Kistler returned to Western Pennsylvania where he married Miss Margaret Friesel of Penn township, Westmoreland county, by whom his survived, as well as by six daughters and one son living in Indiana and Illinois: one son, Sardis H. Kistler of McKeesport, a daughter, Mrs. Claude Tiliey of Pitcairn and a daughter, Miss Olive Kistler, at home.
