3. Inventor, held several patents; early inventor of railroad air brake. 4. Came out to Denver in 1880 and worked for the Denver and Rio Grande RR. Later transferred to Grand Junction and was there when the first train went through. Around 1900 became general foreman of the Moffet road in Denver. After retiring in Denver, he lived there until about 1930, when he moved to North Hollywoood, California. Resided on Wyandott St. in Denver, 1920, 1930.
