  15. Merle J. Strouse, 69, of 126 Broadway, Lodi, an emplyee of Henry FurnaceCo., Medina, before retiring eight years ago, died this morning at LodiCommunity Hospital. He was ill six months.
    Mr. Strouse was born in Brubank and lived in the Burbank and Lodi areamost of his life. He was a member of the Crawford Corners Grace UnitedMethodist Church, Harrisville Township. His wife, Edith, died in 1967.
    Surving is a son, Robert of Westield Center; four sisters, Mrs. ZolaHagans, Lodi, and Mrs. Ethel Bensinger, Mrs. Mary Loucks and Mrs. JennieDietz, all of Lakeland, Fla. and three brothers, Charles fo Lakeland,Fla., Lester of Lodi and Chester of Elyria. He was preceeded in death byone brother.
    Friends will be received tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the ParkerFuneral Home, Lodi where the funeral will be conducted Saturday at1:30pm. The Rev. Leroy Ruble with officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawncemetery, Lodi."
