- Page 36 WILL OF MERIDAY PRICE
- In the Name of God Amen. I Meriday Price of the County of King George in Sittenbourn Parish being weak in body but of perfect sense and memory thanks be to God for the same and first of all I resign my soul into the hands of God that gave it and my body to the grave to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executors.
- Imprimis: I give and bequeath to Mrs. Margaret Pratt one Gold Ring of twenty shillings price.
- Item: I give and bequeath unto my coz. Thomas Price two cows and calves and one young mare bridle and sadle.
- Item: I give and bequeath unto my brother John Price all my wearing clothes.
- Item: I give and bequeath to my son Bourn Price all the rest of my estate both real and personal but in case my son Bourn Price should die without a lawful heir begotten of his own body my Will is that my brother John Price shall have one half of my estate and the other half to be divided between Katherin Butler's three Boys. Further my Will is that my son Bourn be at age at Eighteen years of age.
- And I do hereby leave my brother John Price my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. And I do further revoke all other Wills and Testament. Given under my hand this twenty seventh day of February One thousand Seven hundred and five six (sic, error).- Furthermore my Will is that in case my Brother John Price should die before my son Bourn Price comes to age my Will is that Mr. John Gilbert be sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament the day and year above written.
