Maxine Hanlon

Funeral Services were held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 22, 1978 at the Federated Church in Aurora. Interment was held in the Aurora Cemetery.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Maxine Hanlon

Maxine Hanlon, the daughter of Elmer and Iva McLuen Rhinehart, was born at Aurora, Nebraska on December 10, 1906. Her death occurred, unexpectedly, at her home in Aurora on August 20, 1978, at the age of 71 years, 8 months and 10 days.

She had spent her entire lifetime in Aurora. She attended the Aurora Public Schools. Following her graduation from high school she attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri for one year.

She was married to Norris Peterson and one daughter was born to them.

Maxine joined the Federated Church in Aurora in 1916 and was an active member of that congregation most of her life.

On December 31, 1956 she was married to Thomas Hanlon at Omaha. They made their home in Aurora.

Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas; one daughter Marlene Eddy and her husband Jack of Omaha; three grandchildren, Jeff, Laurel and Tim Eddy; aunt, Mrs. Hazel West and many close friends.
