Contributed to the Calhoun, Roane, Braxton & Clay Counties Tombstone MyFamily site by Larry Heffner, transcriber "Calhoun Chronicle" - 7 February 2002 MAXINE FOUTTY Maxine Sarah Foutty, 76, of Palmer, Alaska, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at Our House Assisted Living Center, Palmer. She was born in Arnoldsburg, the daughter of the late Earl and Lalah Knotts. She received her education in Calhoun County through the eighth grade. She had worked for S.S. Kresge Co., in the early 1940s, and was a housekeeper and full time mother. She was a member of Lauckport United Methodist Church, Parkersburg, and Palmer Senior Citizens Morning Star program. Surviving are one son, David of Wasilla, Alaska; one granddaughter; three sisters; and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel H. Foutty; two brothers; and one sister. Her cremated remains will be buried at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery, Mineral Wells, at a later date. References
