On the Ellis Island site, there is a Matyas Klotzbier, 20 years old, single and a farm laborer. He has $20 with him and he is listed as coming from Nemetstag but elsewhere I saw a Nemet Sagh -- can't be sure of origin. He is listed on the German book page as having come from Segenthau. It says he left his friend Stefan Helfer and was going to New York City to his mother Barbara Reller/Rebler at 132 W 16 Street. Since other fellows names Matyas have been called Max, I am assuming this manifest is for our cousins husband.
