Daily Times-News, The Saturday, January 08, 1972 Mrs.. MAUDE SHOFFNER Holt, 78, cf Rt. 1, Burlington, died this morning in a Durham hospital. A native of Alamance County, Mrs.. Holt was the daughter of the late John M. and Martha SHOFFNER SHOFFNER. She was the wife of the late John B. Holt and was a retired employe of Standard Hosiery Mills, and a member of Low's Lutheran Church. Survivors include one brother, Z.M. SHOFFNER of Rt. 1, Julian. Final rites will be held Mon- day afternoon at 3 o'clock 'at Low's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul E. Moose, pastor, will conduct the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body wil remain at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Bur- lington until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service Visitation wlil begin at the mortuary Sunday at noon, and the family will be at the mortuary Sunday night from 7 to 9 o'clock.
