  • Deed 16 November 1769 of a Valentine Hart, purchasing by Indenture, 100 acres from Matthias & Elizabeth Weaver of Brumfield Parish in the County of Culpeper, Virginia, for which he paid 15 pounds. The land seems to be between Matthias Weaver and Peter Weaver.
  • 1781 - Mathis was drafted and served in the militia of Culpepper County, Virginia.

Will of Matthias Weaver

  • Will of Mathias Weaver, dated 17 May 1806, with codicil dated 11 Dec 1819, and probated in Culpepper Co., VA, Feb 19, 1821 (Will book "H" page 277), mentions his wife Elizabeth; sons Daniel, Ambrose, and Mathias; daughters Mary Carpenter, Elizabeth Thom, Catherine Chelf, Margaret Yager, and Frances Burke; and appoints his sons Ambrose and Mathias as executors.
