Among other memories, Mathilde Van Driessche is remembered for the passion for decorating the Van Langenhove family farm De Seepscherf in Baardegem. She often went shopping to Brussels. During her marriage with Petrus Ludovicus Van Langenhove the front house in the for the time typical vicarage style was added to the farm. The hall of this house was decorated by wall paintings by Mr. De Bie.
