Physical Description[9] 29 Jul 1875 Summit Station, Licking Co., OhioMr. K Fritter, Sir, I received your letter dated the 27th and a draft for$200, and in answer to your question Grace Hiestand never mentioned rentto me nor one of my family from the day of (Michael) Hiestand's death tothe day of her death. Grace Hiestand kept all the money on hand when(Michael) Hiestand died. and I have transacted business for her sincehis death if I had charged would have amounted to $200 and I neverreceived one dollar for it. Price got off with about $1000. andaccording to our best information there was about $6000. perhaps(Wasson) Price has not had fun enough yet. When (Wasson) Price wasexamined before the Probate Court he swore he had never received anotice from you to give in Grace Hiestand's estate. you ask him ifDaniel Ault did not bring him a notice from Reynoldsburg the third dayafter you was appointed administrator, and that he said that he wouldlaw away a farm. Yours truly Mathias Young
