Note: States in Mathias Revolutionary War Pension files record (#3580) that he lived in Cumberland Co., VA when he enlisted and he lived there some eleven yrs after the Revolution, then moved to Campbell Co., VA for thirteen yrs. Then moved to Anderson Co., TN for six yrs, then moved to Roane Co., TN the part that later became Morgan Co., TN where he lived when he applied 15 Oct. 1832 for his pension (he was 77 at the time).
