1825 - The tombstone on Mary's grave gives her age as 14 years, and bears the verse: "In death's soft slumbers lull'd to rest/ The suffering frame no more distressed/ Lies safely and in peace/ Till the last morn's immortal ray/ Pours on the tomb eternal day."
