! 1. Headstone-- I am not sure where she was buried, but a headstone was placed by the headstone of Benjamin Beard in Liberty Cemetary in Smith Co.,MS where her children were buried. ! 1. Family Records--Tradition says her husband was William Beard and he died in the Cival War,she then married a Wilburn man,and had a family by him. After talking to her grandson Walter Parker, I found that she was a Wilburn whose parents died when she was young. She married a Beard that died in the Civil War, after the war she worked in the doctor's clinic where Green W. Parker was treated for some time after falling from the Court House in some kind of accident. They married and she had a family by him. She died when Walter's father was about 5 years old. Mary Wilburn Beard Parker was Green W. Parker's second wife. ! 2. 1840 Census Leake Co.,Ms.pg.32--Willis A. Wilborn is listed in Leake Co. This would mean tha Anunca was probably born in Leake Co. Ms. ! 3. 1850 Census Scott Co., Ms. pg.271--Listed with Willis A. Wilborn. Born in Ms. age 13 and named ANUNCA H. ! 4. 1860 Census Newton Co.,MS--Page 37-Benjamin Beard,age 40 or 48 male, born MS: Anuca or Anica Beard,age 22 female,born MS: Samuel Beard age 4 male, born MS: Laura Beard, age 1 female, born MS. These are her children. ! 5. 1866 MS State Census--listed as Mrs. M.A. Beard with 1 female 20-29; 1 female under 10; 1 male 20-29; 1 male 10-19. Who the male age 20-29 is unclear. ! 6. 1870 Census Smith Co.,MS--Has Samuel D. Beard and Laura L. Beard, living with Mary Art Parker, age 32, born MS. and Green W. Parker age 30, born MS ! 7. Marriage Records Leake Co.,MS--List a Benjamin F. Beard married a Mary Wilburn, Jan. 15, 1856. Contract for marriage was signed by B.W.Beard and James Wolverton. ! 8.
