John and Sarah (Haines) Miller

John Miller (born May 22, 1803 in Beaver Co., PA), his wife Sarah Elizabeth (Haines) Miller (born Dec. 11, 1811), and 5 small children traveled by flat boat down the Beaver and Ohio River to Meigs Co., OH, in December of 1841. John's mother (Mary) and brothers (Beatty and Thomas) also came to Ohio with their families at that time, Beatty and Thomas settled near Wilkesville. Their father and John's twin brother, James, had died in PA prior to the move. Beatty's twin brother, Benjamin, had settled in Spencer Co., IN."
