An undated news clipping in the files of the Coles County Gen. Soc. is titled, "Paradise Pioneer Is Passing Away." It says, "Mrs. Mary Hart, a life-long resident of Coles county, and one of the oldest residents of Paradise township, is said to be slowly passing away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Dillsworth, at Paradise. About ten days ago Mrs. Hart was stricken with paralysis. Later erysipelas of the face set in, and no her end is thought to be rapidly drawing near. Mrs. hart was born to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Treach at Muddy Point seventy years ago last November. Her parents, hard Pennsylvania stock, were among the first settlers of that neighborhood. She spent her childhood in that vicinity and in early womanhood, she married Enoch Hart, who died several years ago. To them were born the following children: H.C.Hart, Paradise; Miles Hart,Paradise; Thomas Hart, Cowley county, Kansas;Mrs. Anne Sawyer, Montana; Mrs. Betty Eaton and Mrs. Myrtle Dillsworth, both of Paradise, Besides these she has a brother, Louis Treach, and a half sister, who resided in Cumberland county. Squire A. Y. Hart is a brother-in-law of the stricken woman, her husband having been his twin brother."
