1826 - Mary's gravestone indicates that she was 70 years of age when she died. The stone is made of granite. It is blank on the left side, possibly indicating that it was planned for her husband to be buried next to her. However, although he was buried at Ancaster 14 years later, either nobody added his details to the gravestone or he was buried elsewhere in the churchyard.
