 I believe she may be the daughter of Daniel Shoughrow (d. 1884) and Mary O'Connell (d. 1898)
 In the 1860 census for Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, Daniel 'Soughroo' is 45, shoemaker from Ireland; with Mary 37 Ireland; Joanna 12 New Hampshire; Daniel 9; Mary A. 6; Marg. 4; Julia 1 -- all born MA; also in the household are Tim Donahoe 16; Pete O'Heara? 18; and Dennis Reardon 34 -- all shoemakers born Ireland.
 In the 1870 census for Abington, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, Daniel Shoughrow is 54, shoemaker from Ireland; with Mary 47 Ireland; Joanna 22 NH 'dressmaker'; Daniel 19 'shoemaker'; Mary 15; Margaret 14; Julia 11; Charles 9; Kate 7; and Sarah 5 -- all born MA; [mother-in-law?] Mary Connel is 70 Ireland.
 Joanna Shoughrow married Henry McKenny in 1871. She is listed as a widow in 1880 in Abington, with children and stepchildren.
 In the 1880 census for Rockland, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, Daniel 'Schronghrough' is 65 Ireland 'works in shoe shop'; with Mary 56; children are Charles H. 19 'works in shoe shop'; Katie F. 16 'works in (hul?) shop'; Sarah E. 15  'works in (hul?) shop' -- all born MA; and mother-in-law Mary O'Connell 84 Ireland. His son Daniel is on the same page with wife and children.

 According to a descendant, Mary "was the lady well known for jumping rope with the local kids at 95 years old."
