L. Hawkins, in the 70th year of her age. The deceased was born in Franklin County, Pa., but in early life came to Pittsburgh, where she connected herself with the First Presbyterian church, then under the pastoral care of the Rev. Dr. Herron. For forty years she was an active and exemplary member of the Church of Christ. She loved God’s house and God’s people. During her illness, she told her husband she would like to live a little longer, but added, “The will of the Lord be done, not mine” Her end was perfect peace. H. Image Gallery
