Mary died of pulmonary tuberculosis, leaving her children orphaned. The youngest chlld, Lucille, went to live with her grandparents. Mary's daughter, Ruth, went to live with a sister, and one of her son's lived with her parents. I cannot find the other son to know with whom he spent the rest of his childhood.
