A FAMILY REUNION.
SINGLETON, Wednesday
A happy family reunion took place at the weekend at the residence of Mr George Partridge, Bulga. Two of Mr. Partridge's sisters, Mrs. W. Reading, of Warwick (Q.),and Mrs. J. Reading, of Gunnedah, being in Bulga on a visit, it was decided to celebrate the occasion. Those present were: Mr. William Partridge, Singleton, aged 80; Mr. Samuel Patridge, Bulga, 78 years; Mrs. W. Hayes, Bulga, 76 years; Mr Charles Partridge, Broke, 68 years; Mr. George Partridge, Bulga, 66 years; Mrs. W Reading, Warwick, 63 years; and Mrs. J. Reading, Gunnedah, 61 years. The total ages of the seven brothers and sisters amounted to 492 years.

DEATH OF MRS M. A. HAYES.
One of the oldest residents of the district, in the person of Mrs Mary Ann Hayes, of The Inlet, Bulga, relict of the late William Hayes, died at her home on Saturday morning. The deceased, who way 92 years of age, was born in Kent (Eng.), and was a resident of Bulga. for 70 years. Her long association with Bulga endeared her to all who knew her, and her demise will be regretted by a large circle of friends. Her husband predeceased her by 17 years, and she is survived by five daughters, viz., Mesdames Ivo Turnbull (Martindale), J. Spinks (Yarrawa), G. Spinks (Hamilton), J. Jenkins (Merriwa), and C. Richardson (Branxton). The funeral, which was conducted by Messrs Partridge Bros., took place yesterday afternoon, the remains being interred in the Church of England cemetery, Bulga.
