Moulton St., Watertown and former Adams resident, died Thursday night August 24 at Mercy Hospital, where she was admitted July 25. The funeral was... Saturday at the Reed and Benoit Funeral Home and ... at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Benoit Dostie, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the North Watertown Cemetery. Mrs. Paddock is survived by a son, Harold Looker,Gouverneur; six grandchildren... She was born March 10, 1893, in Redfield, a daughter of the late Andrew Wesley and Elizabeth Lego O'Derkirk. She was educated in Redfield schools and was a graduate of Pulaski Academy. She was married to Leal Looker, a Fulton native who died in 1917. Her second marriage was to Peter Paddock, a Norwich blacksmith and cattlefeed dealer. They lived for a few years in Mannsvilie, later moving to Adams. Mr. Paddock died in 1963. Mrs. Paddock worked in the old Potable Plant that manufactured munitions during World War I and later as a floor walker at the J.J. Newberry Co. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Eagles Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors of America and the Lodge of McCabees. References
