Newton (b.1852 Stirling) lived on private means with her children, Elizabeth S. Newton (b. 1875 Gourock), Thomas B. Newton (b. 1876 Greenock) and Moubray S. Newton (b. 1879 Gourock), at 15 Warriston Crescent, Edinburgh (census). Mary Moubray Stephenson NEWTON died after 1912 (family letters). She was known as Moubray and worked 1901 as a typist in a lawyer’s office (R. Stephenson), living in 1912 with her mother at 14 Murrayfield Gdns, Edinburgh (family letters).
