Mary Evelyn Bent, 76, Friedens RD 2, died Feb. 25, 1986, in the MeyersdaleCommunity Hospital. Born Nov. 25, 1909, in Somerset Township, daughter ofthe late Harvey Homer and Alice (Gonser) Miller. Preceded in death byhusband, Weller Clayton Bent, who died in 1984; and grandson, Ronald EugeneLudy. Survived by the following children: Jay M., Davidsville; James E.,Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Charles T. (Audrey) Ludy Jr., Somerset; and brother,Walter A. Miller, Friedens RD 1; eight grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren. Member of Rayman Church of the Brethren and theTrinity Chapter Order of Eastern Star. Friends will be received 2-4 and7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services willbe held Thursday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. William N. Hay officiating. Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
