Looking for family of Mary McGill. b. ca. 1770-1775. I've been told that her father's name was Andrew McGill, mother Lucy ?. The McGill family came to US in about 1781 from Ireland. Mary married James Wright, and had 5 girls. Rebecca, b.ca 1787, married Timothy Main in 1808 in Washington County, Virginia. Sarah, b. 1789, married Sebbeus Main in 1807, Margaret married Rev Benjamin Martin 1803 in Washington County, Virginia, Mary b. 1794 married John Main in 1811. Grace married a "Gill" (could this be McGill?) All the families relocated to Delaware County, Virginia sometime after 1810. Mary (McGill) Wright m. second, Nehemiah Williams in 1796 in Washington County, Virginia, and then had two boys. Mary died in 1822 in Delaware County. Any help appreciated

(Note: the daughter Grace (Williams) was actually from Mary's second marriage to Nehemiah Williams, so James Wright and Mary McGill had only 4 girls together).

I have a Nehemiah Williams that was in Washington Co, Va who was in the American Revolution. He relocated to Delaware Co, Oh. I have Nehemiah born 5/5/1737 in NY and he married Mary Wright on 5/31/1796 in Va, I have that Mary was born 3/14/1759. I am searching for Mary's parents names, but in looking at your e-mail, possible she was a McGill as maiden name and Wright as a first married name. Would you have Mary Wrights parents names?

I show that one of Nehemiah's daughters - Margaret Williams married an unknown Martin.
