Mary was a strong efficient and not very emotional person. When farming wasn't going well for the family she ran a boarding house. Later in her life after her husband Charles died, she married one of the town's physicians, Dr. Miller. Family names of her daughters were: Mrs. Harold S. Johnston, Mrs. Frank Weber (divorced), and Mrs. Robert T. Wright. Her son was Charles Woodrow Jensen. Pearl's husband owned a paper filter manufacturing company in Waupaca WI. Paper products were the dominent industry in the area where the Jensen family lived. He sold the filters to breweries. After Hazel's divorce she became a successful realtor in the Winnetka IL. area. Charles, owned a company that did residential electrical work. Mary Jensen lived to be eighty three years old. She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah WI. |
