Miss Mary Ellen Liston of Little York, IL was killed at 8 AM yesterday in an auto accidnt while on her way to school in Sherrad, IL where she was a teacher. Miss Liston is the niece of Earl Hilliard of Mt. Jackson and Wright Hoffmaster of Edinburg, RD 1 and is known in the area.

She was the daughter of Rev Richard Liston and the former Ellen Hawkins, a former teacher in Mt. Jackson School. She was the financee of Alan Land Bricker and a graduate of Biggsville, IL school and Northeast Missouri State College.

She is survived by her parents, 2 brothers, Russell in IL and Dr. Charles Liston of Michigan and 2 uncles here. Services will be held Thursday at 2 PM in the Biggsville United Presbyterian Church and burial will follow in a cemetery in IL.
