She was a member of the Women's Religious Corps. Grave stones next to hers in New Virginia were William G. Taylor 1866-1942 and Nine E. Taylor 1873-1956. One report states that Mary and M. A, Taylor had a son Winifield Taylor, 1851-1918, but that cannot be unless she had a son at age 6 (see family of William Taylor and Mary Lebo) or the dates are miscopied.

A note in Doris Taylor Dickinson scrapbook (reported by Darrell Dickinson) says she died 25 Sep 1910. Her obituary states that people were shocked by her death although she had been in bad heart health for years. She had a brother living in Charles City, IA, was an orphan at the age of 12; two brothers and one sister predeceased her in PA.
