- ↑ Mary Jo was very interested in her family history. She worked togetherwith her neice, Carolyn Krumm Naas, gathering genealogy information onthe Krumm family. Mary Jo delighted in working on any area of thefamily, as suggested by her niece, such as gathering names of alldescendants to the present, bringing the data to current status, whileCarolyn enjoyed going back in time to get ancestor information. Mary Jodiscovered the possiblility that their ancestor, Henry Krumm (b.1832)may not in fact be of Krumm bloodline. She approached Carolyn with thequestion, "What is the worst thing you could find out about yourfamily?" Mary Jo left Carolyn to imagine all sorts of possiblilitiesuntil her visit, where Mary Jo revealed her new found rumor of the"Treasure Box" story. (further information on this story within Henry'snotes)
