1840-1850 Beaver tp, Guernsey Co., Ohio Actual birthdate, death date and burial info from Marilyn Carpenter, 14 Sep 1995. (Mary Kennick) Per 11 Oct 1995 Letter from Ethel Trego, note on death certificate that she lived in state (IL) 26 years, arrived abt 1856., therefore. Also, says the Hickory Point Cem - Kirkwood. LDS form with Cecil Co birthplace, and date, says (per a Triplett) source was Herbert B. Egon, Delaware OH, gt.gr. step son of (wrote to Hist Soc in Delaware on 10/31/95). It appears that it is Mary Kinnick with her daughter, Mary, who had married James Triplett, in the 1840 census of Beaver Twp, Noble Co, OH (60/70) [Jul 2002]. Mary, and her daughter, Mary, age 26, are together in the 1830 census in Union Twp, Belmont Co, OH. James Triplett family is nearby. James bought land in Beaver Twp in Nov 1830. Triplett family tradition has it that Mary Kinnick (the younger) was helping with the children in the Triplett home. She would have moved with them to Beaver Twp, some 25-30 southwest of where they lived in Belmont Co. James' first wife, Ruth, died near Batesville (Beaver Twp) in Mar 1831 (shortly after they arrived, it would appear. James and Mary were married in Jun 1831. By 1840, they had four children of their own in addition to the half dozen from his first marriage, still in the home. Her mother most likely went along to help [Jul 2002].
