- ↑ The year of birth is not knowable, apparently, from the Salem Records. There are only two known children to this couple: son Lewis b. 9 Mar 1693 and daughter Mary. Since the mother died in March 1695, Mary's cannot be 7 Jun 1695 as one might expect if Mary was younger than her brother Lewis (the way they are listed by Perley, p. 3:182). Since the parents marriage was 1684, it seems more likely that Mary was older than Lewis, leading to 1691, or even 1690.
