Classification: Query Surnames: Koch Cook Conrad It would seem that Henry (Koch) Cook and his wife, Mary Magdalene Hudlow aka Magdalene Mary Hudlow were members of the Peaked Mountain Church in Rockingham Co., Virginia. Their eldest child Jacob Cook was baptized on 20 April 1785 by Reverend Charles Schmidt. It is probable that they were married at the Peaked Mountain Church in 1783 by Reverend Charles Schmidt? Peaked Mountain, is now called “Massanutten Mountain” near Keezelton and close to Harrisonburg, and Elkton Virginia. After the death of Henry Cook, his widow, Mary married a second time to Captain Stephen Conrad on 11 August 1821. However, this marriage lasted about a year because Captain Stephen Conrad died on 28 August 1822. I have a photocopy of their marriage.
