  3.   Mrs. Hiram M. Beekley, 73, pioneer resident of Orange township, died at 8:45 p. m. Saturday at her home, 1227 Bertch avenue, from heart disease. She had been in apparent good health until she was stricken by the heart attack.
    One of a famly of 13 children, Mary E. Hostetler was born April 26, 1856, in Somerset county, Pennsylvania. She came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham B. Hostetler, to Orange township in 1868. Her marriage to Hiram M. Beekley occurred Sept. 10, 1877. The couple resided on a farm in Orange township until 1915, when they moved to Waterloo.
    Surviving are two sons, Arthur H., Waterloo, and Earl O., Milwaukee; the following brothers and sister, Hiram A. Hostetler, Los Angeles; Henry A. Hostetler, Pomona, Cal.; George W. Hostetler, Fulda, Minn.; M. B. Hostetler, Blue Earth, Minn.; E. L. Hostetler and Arthur I. Hostetler, Waterloo, and Mrs. Arch Roberts, Cedar Falls; also four grandchildren. Her husband, one sister, Della, and four brothers, henry, David, W. K., and Sam B. Hostetler preceded her in death.
