Marriage to John Brown

Mary Hogg's origins have yet to be established. Her first confirmed sighting is in 1803, by which time she was married to a joiner called John Brown and living at Allanton in the parish of Edrom, Berwickshire. Mary and John had at least three children, although baptisms have only been found for two of them. Mary has yet to be traced after 1806.
