    p 50 - MARY HESS, daughter of Philip Hess, was born December 17, 1792, died November 21, 1870. She was married to Philip Barron, farmer, born near Bursonville, Bucks County, Pa., June 20, 1797, died December 19, 1872. Both lie buried in Springfield Church burying ground. Philip's father, Jacob Barron, was a soldier in Captain Josiah Bryan's Company of Springfield Township Militia in the Revolutionary Army. Philip Hess was a private in the same company. Philip and Mary Barron had eight children: Aaron, Elizabeth, Jacob, George, Philip, William, David and Tilgham.
