History of the Town of Berlin, Worcester County, Mass, p. 418, says "tradition" indicates he had a second wife, in which case the 1759 death date is not valid, but no evidence of a second wife has been found, and the fact that Matthias and Mary sell land of their mother Mary (see Phillip's page) in 1760 suggests there was not.
