Deeds of John Adam Painter(d. 1812) refer to Adam's wife as Polly. Some sources say she was Polly Gilbert. This lead bears researching as Solomon was living in 1850 next to the Gilberts. I beleive the Mary that is in the household to be Solomon's mother - Adam's widow.
