142 iii. Mary Fleischmann, born Abt. 1766. She married John Cook Abt. 1786 in Virginia.

Notes for Mary Fleischmann:
On 12 May 1798 John Cook received a grant for 184 acres on south side of Muddy Creek Mountain in Greenbrier County. In 1803 John and Mary Cook purchased 50 acres in Rich Hollow from Moses and Samuel Fleshman and in 1824 they sold this 50 acres to William and Royal ALTHARE. In 1824 John and Mary Cook sold 145 acres on Muddy Creek Mtn. to William and Royal ALTHARE and 39 acres to Mose SHUCK. In May 1828 a deed for 100 acres from John FLESHMAN and wife to Thomas COOK is recorded. In 1850 Mary COOK, age 84, is listed with Archibald CAMPBELL, preacher, age 89 and Sarah CAMPBELL, age 40.
